1. SHOULD I USE FACE OIL IF I HAVE OILY SKIN?

Yes! The Golden Face oil is created for acne-prone and sensitive skin types. It’s a lightweight oil that completely absorbs into the skin with gentle massage. It’s non-comedogenic, and therefore, will not clog pores. It’s perfect for people with normal to sensitive skin or dealing with acne.

2. WILL THE TURMERIC IN THIS OIL STAIN MY SKIN?

No it will not. While you may notice a glow to your skin after application, the percentage of turmeric used in our formula will not stain your skin. Be sure to take your time and gently massage it into your skin well.

3. I’M ON MY SECOND BOTTLE, WHY DOES IT LOOK DIFFERENT?

Each of the oils used in our formulation are handmade, hand poured, hand bottled and hand packaged by me, in Oakland. Any subtle color variations occur due to the seasonality of the harvests and varying infusion times of our botanical ingredients. Expect to find beautiful strands of saffron, tiny particles of sandalwood and an occasional calendula flower in our formula. All these beautiful nuances are to be embraced and what lets you know that your oil is hand made without any mechanical interference. These variations do not affect the botanical properties, potency or efficacy of the oil.

4. ARE YOUR PRODUCTS NON-GENDERED?

Yes, our products can be used by everyone. 

5. WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

All our products have a shelf-life of 12 months once opened. To maintain the efficacy of our products, store in a dark, cool place away from sunlight and keep away from water. Our products are created to be loved and should last up to a year with daily application.

6. ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN/CRUELTY-FREE?

Yes. Our products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

7. ARE ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS HALAL?

Yes, all of our ingredients are 100% halal.

8. ARE YOUR INGREDIENTS ORGANIC?

All our ingredients are USDA certified organic with the exception of our saffron. We buy premium, Super Negin, Category 1 saffron threads from a family-owned & operated company that partners with farmers in Afghanistan. These threads are lab tested for their aroma (Safranal), flavor (Picocrocin) and color (Crocin) to meet quality standards. Sourcing saffron that is organic and in large quantities is extremely difficult and costly, and although most farmers grow their saffron without synthetic chemicals or fertilizers, meeting the standards of European organic production is an arduous process and one they choose not to take. We will always be transparent with our community about what we’re putting into our products and aim to source the purest ingredients where possible.

9. WHAT ARE YOUR SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES?

Our mission is to ensure that we leave the smallest footprint on our planet in each step of the way, from farm to formula (to face!). Our products are ocean safe, planet safe and people safe. Like the packaging you received? Good news! Your products are packaged in materials that are 100% recyclable or compostable. This means you can either repurpose your envelopes, boxes or bottles for other projects or dispose them responsibly into the recycling or compost. We are committed to making a continued effort of using as little resources operationally and be as environmentally gentle where ever possible, throughout the process of bringing this brand to you!

10. WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY?

All sales are final.

11. WHAT IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED?

While we pack each bottle with love and care to ensure they arrive to you safely and in one piece. We understand that some things are out of our control. If your order is missing a product, is damaged, or if you have any other concerns, please email us immediately with a brief description and pictorial proof. We’ll be happy to resolve the issue for you!

13. WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY FOR THE PRĀNA JACKET

  • We accept returns for store credit only. Returns must be made 7 days of the delivery date. Return shipping fees has to paid by the customer.
  • Your return has to be new, unworn, unwashed and in original packaging with tags attached.
  • If you would like an exchange for another size, please contact us and we will send you a return shipping label. You will have to place a new order for the size you wish.
